If you followed along on my last Walt Disney World trip, you’ll know that I stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. But what do we really think of the place? Grab your leg warmers and hang loose whilst we time travel back to groovy decades!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort last month and it never fails to reach my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was greeted with a vibrant and lively atmosphere that truly captured the essence of the different decades it represents.

One of the things that stood out to me about Pop Century Resort was the exceptional theming. Each section of the resort is dedicated to a specific decade, from the 1950s all the way to the 1990s. (I had the pleasure of staying in the 1950’s era!) The attention to detail in the decor, music, and memorabilia from each era was remarkable. It was like taking a walk through time!

The rooms at Pop Century were comfortable, clean, and well equipped. I appreciated the moderate space and modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffee makers. The Disney touches throughout the room, such as the themed artwork and hidden Mickeys, added an extra touch of magic. We found there was more than enough space to store our Loungefly’s and park merchandise!

The resort’s dining options were also impressive. Everything from quick-service meals to grab-and-go snacks was available, and the food quality was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Everything Pop Shopping and Dining area, which had a wide variety of food choices to suit all tastes and dietary preferences. I never had any problem finding food for myself and my husband, who are both vegetarians!

Now this is the best part about Pop Century. Transportation! Getting to the Disney parks was seamless and convenient. You’ve got the Disney Skyliner right at your finger tips to take you to Epcot and Hollywood studios. And then you can grab a bus to anywhere else. Buses ran regularly and I never had to wait long for transportation to arrive. And the main thing is that the bus drivers were friendly and helpful.

Another highlight of Pop Century Resort was the pool area. The main pool, called the Hippy Dippy Pool, was a fun and lively place to relax and unwind. The pool was surrounded by oversized icons from the different decades, adding to the resort’s unique charm. There were also other smaller pools throughout the resort, ensuring that we alwats had plenty of options for swimming and lounging.

The overall atmosphere at Disney’s Pop Century Resort was vibrant, joyful, and family-friendly. The staff members were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The resort’s attention to detail, immersive theming, and excellent amenities made my stay truly memorable. Especially as its one of Walt Disney Worlds value resorts, it really doesn’t feel that way!

In conclusion, Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the nostalgia of the past while enjoying all the modern comforts and conveniences. From the theming and decor to the friendly staff and convenient transportation, everything about this resort exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Walt Disney World.
