Have you seen some amazing things from US websites that you can’t get here in the UK? Or maybe you can get it delivered, but the shipping and import taxes are the same price as your mortgage? Don’t worry, I can help you!
If you ever thought you were limited to only what you could carry in your suitcase to bring with you to Disney World, guess again! You see, many people have gotten wise to sending packages to their Disney World resorts ahead of time to save on precious luggage space. Some even get their food shop delivered! Every Disney World hotel will accept packages for you. Just make sure to follow the rules below!
Instructions for Shipping a Package to Your Disney World Resort
Here’s what you should do to mail a package to your resort:
- First of all, don’t buy anything that will get there more than a week before you arrive (Disney are a bit funny with this, so just make sure it arrives within a week before check-in).
- Use the official shipping address listed for your Disney World hotel. This can be found on the Disney World website. Simply search for your resort hotel, and on the main page for each hotel, on the right-hand side, you’ll see the address for the resort.

- When you address your package, include the word GUEST with the lead person in the room’s name and your arrival date. This must be written clearly on the package (preferably on the line below the hotel name!)
- Remember: American’s write the date differently to us. So 21st April 2023 would be written as 04/21/23 in the US (not 21/04/2023 as we would write it)

I like to write ‘Guest’ as many times as I can! Just so the cast member can see clearly.
Follow these simple instructions and your well-marked package or packages should get to your Disney World resort without any trouble. You can pick up your packages at the front desk 24 hours a day.
Once you arrive and check-in, ask the Cast Member if there are any packages waiting for you. Often, these will be noted on your file prior to arrival. You can also ask Bell Services to get your items for you and deliver them to your room for no additional cost. Make sure you have a couple of dollars for a tip though!
Disney have recently added on their website ‘Please note that a $6 per package handling fee will apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room’.
So if you’re thinking of getting a couple of things, you might want to order them all together to save you some $$$
Hoped this little blog helped and Happy Shopping!
